Mental health is becoming a common condition for an individual’s psychological and emotional wellbeing. This qualification has been designed to meet the Equality Act (2010) and the Mental Health Act (1983) [Places of Safety] Regulations.
2 day course for staff and managers in the workplace setting.
This course will increase the student’s understanding of:
- Mental health.
- Ability to recognise and discuss different mental illnesses.
- Health problems
- Mental health and legislation.
- Responsibilities in the workplace under mental health.
- Supporting an employee with mental health related problems.
- Promoting a healthy workplace environment.
- Implementing an action plan to promote recovery of mental health.
- Ability to understand the Management Standards Approach.

There is also a blended option for this course whereby students can attend for just one day once they have completed a 6 hour online learning option, thereby reducing the cost.
